Black walnut saplings take root

We have completed all but several hundred trees requiring mulch at the orchard this week. We wanted to show you just how well the walnut saplings are doing and how wonderful it was to see the trees begin to bud. Here are a few pictures from the farm this week:

Update: mulching in the rain

It has been another amazing week at the farm. The mulching continues and, even though the weather is not as pleasant with cloudy skies and showers, the rain is a life-giving force of nature. Here are a few quick photos of our mulching progress this week.
