From the attached pictures one can question just how soon spring will finally arrive in our region of Ontario. With almost three feet of snow still on the ground on the farm, it takes will power to remain optimistic about the spring thaw. Spring represents a new beginning for farmers across the province, and we are excited to get our hands dirty planting new trees, protecting existing forest on the property, and upgrading some infrastructure as we build the foundation of our farm. We have provided some recent pictures from the farm – not to depress you with more images of winter – but to let you see there is a beautiful side of winter that nature can reveal. For those of you in Canada who are experiencing spring already, please send it our way when you can. Wishing you all a happy spring, and with it a new beginning this year.
